What does Blu moon offer?

With over 16 years in the baking industry, 2 fine art degrees and over 15 years of teaching experience, we have a specific set of skills that allows for a variety of creative service options.

Yes, the business name is “Blu Moon Art Studio”, but at the core we are a creative class instructor and a gourmet bakery and sweets creator.

Currently, our notable offers are:

  1. Creative class instructor focusing on canvas painting, cake and cookie design for all ages and ranging from 6-30 student size classes and parties.

  2. Artist accepting custom art projects, often within the painting genre.

  3. Gourmet baker offering monthly designer cookie boxes, cookie dippers, brunch boxes, custom orders, markets, and catering orders.

  4. Recently by adding a freeze dryer to our tools, we now offer freeze dried candies and desserts.

Does Blu Moon Ship?

Yes, we can send items to any APO or US address! Most items can be shipped and shipping rates will vary based on your chosen items. If you don’t see shipping on an item, contact me and I can get that option added for you.

Where IS BLU MOON LOCATED?

Classes are mobile, as in I can teach creative classes anywhere you like. I do not own a venue for classes.

Orders may be picked up from our HBB location, 4530B Yorktown St. You’ll see the business sign on the house.

Does Blu Moon bake for certain allergies or dietary needs?

We do offer gluten-free options on a few of our products, although our kitchen is not a dedicated gluten-free area.


I have a $5 off code for joining the email list, where can I use that?

First, we thank you for joining the list!

You’ll have to use the code on the website, not at an event on in person. That means you can choose from any online offer. Many folks use their code on cookie dippers or freeze-dried treats because they are offered regularly on the website and can be delivered to you on a weekly basis.


What are your policies when it comes to canceling or refunds?

We take our work very seriously and have a general contract in place, as well as a policy disclaimer below.

Although we LOVE baking and creating art for our clients, due to the time restraints of being a wife and mother, we only accept orders above a certain minimum dollar amount (unless agreed upon in writing).

 

  1. Blu Moon operates under a general contract found here. When you purchase any product from Blu Moon, you are agreeing to all the terms and conditions laid out in the contract.

  2. A minimum order of $200 is required to book a custom baking slot. Or $100 minimum for artwork.

  3. All custom orders must be discussed to determine availability and pricing before booking is confirmed. Feel free to contact me via email at melissa@blumoonartstudio.com to start your custom order.

  4. Custom orders normally require a 2+ week notice to get a slot on the calendar.
